Hello!

I am Nishala Jayawardene, the Director and care provider at Playden Montessori and Daycare.

Professional Life

I am a professionally qualified Montessori teacher with over 30 years of experience in Montessori/Preschool teaching.

I received my diploma in Montessori method of education in 2008. I have had education in infant development from the North Orange Continuing Education School and have earned an early education certificate in Health, Safety/Nutrition/Young Child from the Laguna Technical College in Pomona.

Additionally, I've completed units in Curriculum Development, Classroom Management, Development in early Childhood. Most recently, I have completed training in Supervision & Administration of Early Childhood Centers from the Laguna Technical College in Pomona.

Family

My husband is a manager at a retail chain.

I am also a mother of two sons. My eldest is an Officer at the California Highway Patrol and my youngest is currently studying to be a registered nurse.
